Bridges to Peace: Walking in Their Footsteps
The 34th annual Peace Camp will be held June 9–13 at Vida Charter School (120 East Broadway, Gettysburg). Drop off is at 9:00 a.m. and pick up is between 3:00 p.m. The camp is open to children ages 6 to 16.

Peace Camp 2025: Bridges to Peace – Walking in Their Footsteps

June 9–13, 2025 | Vida Charter School, Gettysburg, PA
Suggested donation: $50 per family
Peace Camp is a week-long summer day camp for youth ages 6–14 that promotes compassion, justice, and community. Through interactive learning, campers explore themes of equity, cooperation, and peacebuilding, all while having fun and making new friends.
Activities include:
- Creative arts & crafts
- Music & movement
- Storytelling & historical exploration
- Cooperative games
- Mindfulness & nature walks
- Group discussions on fairness, inclusion, and empathy
- Field trips to significant local sites, including the Gettysburg Black History Trail
Each day centers on a theme that connects history with present-day peacebuilding efforts, empowering young people to be changemakers in their communities.
