Unitarian Universalists of Gettysburg
Unitarian Universalists of Gettysburg . The Unitarian Universalists of Gettysburg are shifting their weekly Sunday services to 10:30 a.m. beginning July 3.  They also will be cutting the ribbon on their new location at 136 South Stratton Street, Gettysburg,
across the street from where they have been meeting since December 2003. UUG invites all to visit them at their new church home.

Religious education for our young people is a top priority. "In Our Hands," a peace and social justice program will be the focal point for our K--6th graders; the older youth group will explore what they believe they stand for. Nursery care. Everyone welcome.

July 3: The Building of Beginnings - Rev. Ron Crawford addresses the significance of our new physical space and the opportunities thus provided to better serve each other and the greater community. Refreshments follow.

July 10: We Are Now What We Were Then - Rev. Ron Crawford presents an overview of Unitarian Universalist history as one way of understanding why we are who we are today. Potluck follows service.  

July 17: Rev. Erin Ostendorf-Snell, Associate-in-Ministry, Trinity United Church in Christ.  (Topic to be announced.)  Rev. Ostendorf-Snell is a graduate of Lancaster Theological Seminary.  Refreshments follow.

July 24: Our Humanist Heritage. Rev. Ron Crawford begins a three-unit discussion of Humanist thought and its relevance to Unitarian Univesalism today. Refreshments follow.

July 31: Growing Old Graciously and Other Nonsense Rev. Ron Crawford takes a not entirely serious look at the inevitable circumstances of aging and what we can to about it. Refreshments follow.
