June and July 2004

Sunday, June 27 and July 11 (and every second and fourth Sunday): Unitarian Universalists of Gettysburg meeting. 3:00 pm, Trinity United Church of Christ, at the corner of S. Stratton and E. Additional information:
June 27: The Rev. Ronald B. Crawford Morehouse, Pastoral Minister, UU Congregation of Frederick, will speak on "The Meaning of Spirituality." Rev. Crawford shares his understanding of spirituality, what it is, and how it may influence our lives. Refreshments will follow the service.

July 11:
UUG will hold its Annual Potluck Picnic at Battlefield Bed and Breakfast, 2264 Emmitsburg Road, Gettysburg. There will be a Sharing Service entitled “Tolerance.” The service includes reading a “Story for All Ages” dealing with tolerance, followed by a discussion. The theme is related to the UU principle of respecting the inherent worth and dignity of the individual.

Saturday, July 10 (and every second Saturday): 11:00 am to 12:00 noon. Peace Vigil at Gettysburg National Military Park, Steinwehr Ave. (opposite train museum). Bring your own signs.
